Rahil Jasani, Founder
I work as an equity research anaylst at a leading Indian brokerage house, covering the mid-caps space. Naturally, a large part of my day goes into analysing and pitching stocks. Having been in the finance industry since my under-graduation, I have come across certain gaps in the industry that need to be filled. I started “the MF project” to fill one such gap of financial inclusion.
In my free time, you will find me watching movies, reading a book or just meeting some friends. To pursue my love for photography, I wish to travel a lot more than I currently do, especially to the Himalayas.
Vidhurath Venkatesh, Co-founder
I work with an international investment bank in their global markets division analyzing financial instruments in Emerging Markets.
With an experience in a variety of industries from engineering and consulting to investment banking, I am always looking for a new challenge to jump into. Being a fitness freak, if I’m not sitting in front of my laptop, I’m most likely at the gym or out on a run.
I love meeting new people and that’s what drove me to take up this venture. I get to interact with interesting individuals from all strata of society so as to understand and sometimes even enhance their lives by sharing my knowledge with them. So far, the experience has been very enriching and the future of “the MF project” promises to be an exciting adventure. Fasten your seat belts.

Saloni Sheth, Co-founder
I am a finance enthusiast who firmly believes in ‘be the change you want to see’. Through the MF Project I intend to extend the financial knowledge and expertise that I have been fortunate enough to gain, through my educational endeavors and a previous stint at an investment bank, to the economically disadvantaged sections of the society. Apart from blogging on a multitude of topics from economy to sustainable development, I am currently researching on the federal finance policy in India for a think tank.
More of a book hoarder than a bibliophile, great conversationalist- can literally talk about anything and everything under the sun, passionate about dancing (trained contemporary dancer), traveler seeking new stories and love to meet new people.
Rachit Kansal, Lead – Bangalore
I work as a software engineer and associate product manager at a leading cloud company in Bangalore. My association with finance is out of personal curiosity and prior academics. I have also contributed to open source financial projects for the underbanked in the best way I can i.e. “techonology”. The MF project is an important initiative and as part of my efforts, I wish to spread the knowledge for its Bangalore chapter.
In my free time, I love to learn about technology and new products. I firmly believe that in the coming years, technology will further revolutionize our lives in every domain be it finance, home, fitness, etc. I want to learn, grow and become a torchbearer for this change.
